The shoe's distinguishing feature is the single pull loop (SPL) adjustable binding, which distributes the tension equally across the foot for total comfort. Even better, the binding's cam-locking buckle heels won't loosen under any running conditions, so you needn't worry about the Gold 12 tripping you up only a half mile into your run. And thanks to the signature three-claw traction system, you'll have the confidence to attack any hill or trail. Additional details include a TIG-welded, powder-coated aluminum frame that's strong and durable; a teardrop-shaped design that delivers a natural stride and optimal flotation on the trail; and clear Surlyn T front decks.
